Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
